November 2021 update

November 08, 2021

Wilton Park is a hive of activity, with construction of the first homes nearly complete and critical infrastructure work - including the A355 Relief Road’s ‘missing link’ - well underway. Below is an update on the most recent activity.

Working with our partner, Bewley Homes

In November 2021, we announced the sale of the third phase at Wilton Park to our partner Bewley Homes.

Bewley Homes is also delivering the first two phases at Wilton Park, with the first-phase homes to be available from January 2022. Demolition works for Phase 2 will start on 15 November 2021.

Planning applications

In September 2021, we submitted a Reserved Matters planning application for the early delivery of the new community hub, café, purpose-built premises for First Place Nursery and two hectares of parkland. This application rests with the Council for approval. Find out more about this application here.

A355 Relief Road ‘missing link’

Demolition of the buildings along the route of the road began in September 2021 and the road is on track to complete in spring 2022.

Beaconsfield ATC have relocated to new, purpose-built facilities on site to enable delivery of the Relief Road missing link to get underway. Inland Homes secured planning permission and delivered the new facilities for this important community group.

Other activity on site

  • A new water main has been installed to residents within Brackenwood. Advance notice of a ‘live’ date for the water meters and the commencement of billing
to residents will be issued by the supplier ICOSA in due course. Residents can contact ISOCA customer services on 0330 111 0780 or visit their website to find out more.
  • Works to install a new sustainable drainage system (SuDS) are underway. The SuDS basins are being located in the woodland and will provide a natural approach to managing drainage for Phases 1 and 2.
  • A new foul water pumping station and rising main works are underway. Drilling under the A40 is now complete and off-site works to connect into Thames Water drainage are due to start in November 2021.
  • Works to bring ultrafast broadband onto Wilton Park have now started. The final stretch of trenching and ducting is to be installed in Dupre Crescent, Wavell Road, Berwick Close and Baldwin Road as soon as the water works are completed. This will enable the off site connection to be made in December 2021. The provider is OFNL and they will be offering ‘ultrafast’ high-speed broadband from a choice of around 16 suppliers, with new suppliers added regularly. Once the broadband is live, the BT copper lines will be permanently disconnected - following advance notice to all residents. Residents can find out more here.
